Italy has been fighting the coronavirus since it became the first epicenter outside of China near the end of February 2020. Their curve began to flatten on March 23 or two weeks after implementing the total lockdown of their nation. They have gradually reduced their daily number of new cases from over 6500 down to an average 478 over the last few days. They are opening up their country starting today (May 25), according to a BBC’s story Italy takes ‘calculated risk’ in easing restrictions. I hope for the best for the Italian people, especially since my wife and children are of Italian descent.
HISTORY
