- Bolivia has grown fourfold from 107 to 457
- Chile more than tripled from 1166 to 4111
- Guatemala has grown nine-fold from 29 to 262
- Peru rose 65% from 2857 to 4715 or over 1800 occurrences per day. It surpassed 100,000 cases on May 22
- Canada is the bright star in the Americas, declining over forty percent (40%) from 1728 to 1013
